Hello, my name is Jeff Meister and I’d like to welcome you to tech4teachers.info. This site was designed for educators that would like to utilize technology in their teaching practices but maybe don’t feel comfortable enough to do so. It’s also designed so that those utilizing technology in their teaching practices can share their ideas.
Based on teacher suggestions, I’ve categorized the site primarily by content area. You’ll see these listed on the right of your screen. In this section, you’ll see examples of how technology is being used within each content area. Be sure to use the drop-down menus next to each content area to see the technology examples specific to that subject.
I’ve also provided demonstrations on the basics of the five technologies that teachers indicated they would like to learn most about. These are listed in the “Pages” section under “Technologies”. Once again, be sure to use the drop-down menu to go to each technology.
Finally, because this site was created to promote communication and collaboration, I encourage you to submit your comments and ideas anywhere you see “add comment” beneath any example or posting. You may also take part in the discussions in the “forum” area.
